Во-первых, я рад, что BSEL заработал, у тебя разгон по шине есть в BIOS? Что за клокер?

Увы, с вероятностью 99% это не прокатит, award очень любит делать модули независимыми и определение свойств процессора размазывается по всему куче. НО ... не все так плохо, он "по любому" начинает плясать от cpuid, которая легко отлавливается в ida (благо модулей не много). Ну а после нахождения cpuid играешь в обычную игру "угадай о чём" с выяснением, какому процессору это принадлежит. ))
Есдинственная проблема будет с boot-loader'ом, он "отвратный" (кто знает, тот поймет) - для него запихивание в иду будет дооооолгим и нафиг не нужным. Используй hiew. ))
Я развлекался с AMI, поэтому помочь не могу.... а с разгадывание cpuid помощь не нужна, регистры документированы.

White, кинь ему идею, может BIOS сначала проверяет HT, а потом CPUID, может там собака порылась. Тогда поможет дамп твоего 965 в нормальной мамке (с включённым HT) для его работы.

Итак, вот что мне удалось выяснить.
Вытащил Pentium D 965 Extreme Edition, вставил Pentium D 950.
Успешный старт.
Во время POST пишет, что Hyper_threading technology Enabled
После первой перезагрузки про HT ни слова
Ни во время первого старта, ни после ребутов с Pentium D 950 нету опции HT в BIOS!!!
То есть на PD 965 она есть, а тут - нету! Ранее мне казалось, что опция HT доступна на P-D 950, ан нет.
Далее, два ядра в системе увиделись без каких-либо проблем. Вот ссылки на дампы.
