Few days ago i have purchased new AGP2PCI converter from Osckhar. Now i am waiting my package.

About riser. Newer revision have some improvements that will help Voodoo work more stable. Also it has some new features that make speed tuning more comfortable. I will show photos later.

It is a plesure to be here.
I am Oscar from Spain who work in agp2pci adapter.
A new evolution is coming. It is called AGP3.3 DUAL VERSION with a lot of features and different range price.
As rare items about 3Dfx, yes, I own the famous RAMPAGE.

osckhar, welcome to modlabs! Can you post some Rampage pictures? Unfortunately, i didnt find any info about it.
You can upload pictures to our gallery here http://www.modlabs.n...ile/gallery_add
Also you can attach pics to your forum post. If you will choose gallery, you need to know that it is necessary to upload description and tags for photo. Max size is 2048 on the largest side.
Here is translation for gallery options.

Then you can instert your picture anywhere you want

An ex engineer worked on Rampage as manager board told me the following:
Revision A0:
- 10 samples.
Revision A1:
- 10 samples with test socket.
- 10 samples with chip soldered onto the card.
About how many Rampage samples there are in hands collectors? Yes, only 6 samples. One A0, 3 A1 with test socket and 2 more with Rampage chip soldered onto the card.

Hi Antinomy,
Of course, here some features:
AGP3.3 DUAL VERSION
- Limited Edition black PCB / Flash Golden letters.
- Fixed some minor bugs.
- Modified for using the adapter without internal Power Supply (only PCIx 3.3v)
- Added an extra IC regulator on back of the adapter to help IC1 to controll better the heat.
- Added new holes for improvement the heatsink than vers. AGP3.0
- Different range price.
Idea is the next. I modified the PCB for different settings. What it means different range price.
LOW COST ADAPTER:
Not internal POWER SUPPLY. It only compatible in PCIx slots. It could be the best solution for all V5-6000 users since If PCIx can handled the power rail needed when 6k is runing 8xFSAA. It means, cheap adatper and not heat problem. Only a motherboard with PCIx slot is needed.
MEDIUM COST ADAPTER (users dont own V5-6000 card):
Internal Power Supply. It means it can be used in standar PCI slot with 5V. Be ware here. Make sure your PCI slot is at least 2.1 compliance. I still did not find a motherboard is not compatible with adapter.
HIGH END DEVICE DUAL SET VIA JUMPERS + FRONT / BACK HEATSINK ON IC + EXTRA IC REGULATOR (Only recommendable for V5-6000 users):
It would be a deluxe version dual. Seted via jumpers where you can choose what manner you want to use it. Problems? Yes, if you not use correctly the jumpers. VGA can be killed.

If you check my test using AGP3.0 adapter with my 6k and an ASUS WS plugging the adapter in PCIx slot. Adapter is 100% stable taking the 12V voltage from PCIx slot. All the test shown in the pics are without connect the adatper to the PSU.
About 3.3V- adapter owns it self power supply 3.3V RAIL. It is handled for IC1 & IC2.
Another question is without INTERNAL POWER RAIL 3.3V the PCIx slot would be to able to supply the power rail needed when V5-6000 is working 8xFSAA. Anyway, it could be fixed adding one IC 3.3V regulator.

Correct- with this adapter any VGA DEVICE 3.3V compatible. It will work.
Why such marks about V5-6000 users? This adapter is thought for V5-6000 users for his limitation in modern platform and for lack of an AGP 3.3V DEVICE SLOT but of course it can be used for any VGA card supports 3.3V AGP.

Yes, the adapter I sold you is this one.
It was kept for my friend Michel but at the end he did not want it.
