Very interesting APG2PCI adapters Great Work

Two years ago I have try make similar adapter from Apple 820-1102-A Cube Video Card Riser Board, but unsuccess What do you think about this? Is it theoretically possible?

2-d question: if one from you adapters support 1.5V AGP cards?

and last question, do you sell your LOW/MEDIUM/HIGH COST ADAPTERs?

Well, practically I have sold all my samples off ebay.

Not yet, I am working in my own site it is www.3Dfx.es and I will have a special section for AGP3.3 adapter.
If you need any info or pics. Just drop me an email or will post here the info.

Raally is NOT a WORTH to proudce another adatper with universal support. I should add level shifter to 5/3.3V to 1.5V and it means a new design and to modify all the estructure.

The advantage to use this adatper is with NOT level shifter you can use it in all the motherbaord that at least is PCI2.1 compliance.

For example the sample I am selling on ebay. If you use it in a new motherboard PCI2.2 / PCI2.3 compliance you can use it in a standar PCI slot without a motherboar with PCIx 3.3v support. Since PCI2.2 compliance the southbridge chip are ready for working 3.3V and with PCI2.3 compliance pci cards 5V is not supported. Even a lot of motherboard with PCI2.1 compliance will be compatible. It means the power supply and data will operate 3.3V without voltage level chip. For such reason this adatper needs at least VGA compatible with 3.3V

Talking more clear, the adatper I have for sale in ebay could be used in an old motherboard based Intel 440BX. If you plug the adapter into a PCI 5V slot the VGA card will work without troubles, without VOLTAGE-LEVEL-TRANSLATION or SHIFTER LEVEL needed. I know it must sounds rare since PCI is 5V and everybody will think card will be damaged without a SHIFTER LEVEL of 5V to 3.3V but it is not. Card will be NOT DAMAGED.

COMPATIBLITY AGP3.3 ADAPTER IN STANDAR PCI 5V SLOT: Under you own risk you can use this adapter in standar PCI device 5V but you must be sure your motherboard is compatible and supports 3.3/5V PCI bus interface. I still did not find a motherboard is not compatible with this adapter.

Main difference is the previous adapter is based on AGPtoPCI, and the last one is an adapter based 3.3AGPtoAGP1.5.

afaik, agp vsa cards able to be modded to 1.5v. or i'm wrong?

It is very risky sometimes to mod boards, much safer to use adapter. I will buy it, Oscar.

@zx-c64,

Some users have tried to mod V5 @agp4x 1.5V but card is totally unstable and even I was not able to load Windows.

I did some fast test but seems adapter is solid since a V5 AGP worked perfect even a V3 3000 AGP.

Can you put there more photos of your new NAPALM FX adapter? Ideally adapter should be with 3 pins 3, 1.5 and 0.8V can you make it?

Not understand what you mean with 3 pins 3?

Adapter 33AGPtoAGP15- internal power circuit works 3.3v for voodoo cards.
